water

We utilize several strategies to provide economic and energy saving solutions.  Methods employed vary depending on site, local codes and owner requirements.  Although these methods are proven to be effective, it is the owner/occupant’s responsible environmental practices which truly affect performance.

greywater recovery

Greywater is wastewater generated from bathtubs, showers, laundry and lavatories.  It comprises 50-80% of residential wastewater.  Often combined with rainwater captured from the roof and paved surfaces, it is often recovered to supply water to toilets and irrigation in order to offset the use of potable water commonly used for these functions.   Recovery and re-use of this water conserves our resources of freshwater, reduces the load on municipal sewer and wastewater systems and thus, reduces the effluent pumped into rivers and streams.

low-flow fixtures

The latest advances in technology provide performance fixtures that use a fraction of the water previously used in conventional products. By incorporating low-flow toilets, faucets and showerheads, thousands of gallons of water can be saved. In addition, there is a significant cost savings on average water and sewer bills. These fixtures, used in conjunction with greywater recycling and general conservation can greatly reduce freshwater demand.
